2022 President Cup B/Volleyball Get new Date-Technical Director
The Technical Director of Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Martin Melandi said the arrival date for the 2022 President Beach Volleyball Cup has been moved to 18th February.
It will be recalled that, President Beach Volleyball Cup is scheduled for 18th to 23rd February, 2022 at the twin court of Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna state.
Melandi said the decision was made after due consultations from critical beach volleyball stakeholders.
He maintained that there is no registration fee for the President Beach Volleyball Cup adding that only registered teams with the Federation are permitted to participate.
According to him, this is to inform players, coaches and the general public that the arrival date of the 2022 President Beach Volleyball Cup is on 18th of February.
“We observed that since the Championship have four categories which including the U19 Boys and U19 Girls as well as the seniors (male and female), three days will not be sufficient.
“For proper documentation, all teams must register with the Nigeria Volleyball Federation secretariat. Only teams registered with their Federation will be permitted to feature in the President Beach Volleyball Cup”.
He said FIVB rules will be strictly applied to make the championship colourful.

The SWAN Diamond Jubilee Celebration attracted prominent figures from sports administration, the media, and government sectors to celebrate individuals and organisations whose efforts have significantly advanced sports development and journalism in Nigeria.
