Governorship aspirant for the Green Party of Nigeria Prof. Sani Malami in an exclusive Chat with AljazirahNigeriacriticized the use of money in buying votes in the just concluded Bauchi South senatorial bye election.
Malami, seriously criticized money politics warn that if such trend is not put to rest by the electorate they’ll always plung this nation into dungeon adding that votes were bought for as low as one hundred Naira and five hundred Naira while in some places they use of dashing out a satchet of salt or Maggi cubes purchased a vote.
He advised Nigerians to shun the act of selling their votes for no one with the purchasing power of votes will dedicate him or herself to the service of humanity explaining that Bauchi needs vigorous leader to turn around the fortune of the state and regain its lost glory in which business activities will boom and provide an atmosphere of business communities to come to Bauchi to investors according to him the state is blessed with many untapped potentials that anyone living in the state will be opportune to live a happy life.
Malami, a medical consultant for about four Nigeria Universities said he is in the contest to ensure delivery of what Bauchi People desire in terms of providing basic needs of the people couple with infrastructure adding that the present administration of Governor Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar in Bauchi state has done poorly in moving the state to a better place.
if he can compare the present government of the state and the last administration of his boss, Governor Isa Yuguda who also participated, Malami said no one can compare light and darkness explaining that the present administration in Bauchi is total black out compared to Governor Isa Yuguda’s.
