Leventis Foundation Celebrates 30th Anniversary, Targets More Youths, Farmers Empowerment

One of the leading largest chain stores in Nigeria Leventis Foundation Nigeria is set to celebrate its 30th anniversary with fanfare.

The ceremony slated for 30th October to the 1st of November 2018 in Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory Central Business District will be an avenue for the foundation to intertwine with 30 years of selfless service to Nigerian and beyond.

LFN which has impacted many lives by attracting the youths into agriculture as well as train and support them in achieving improved, eco-friendly and technologically developed farming practices and in turn enhance and sustain the livelihoods of farming families.

Leventis Foundation was set up following the philanthropic legacy of late Chief George Anastasios, to assist educational, cultural, and other charitable causes specifying West Africa and
Particularly Nigeria as a major beneficiary.

Not only that, another idea behind the establishment of LFN was to provide employment for the teeming youths and wealth creation.

LFN, Media and Communications Officer Morenike Hemba Peter-Thomas ANIPR ARPA made this known in Abuja through a press statement stating that over 25,000 youths and farmers have trained at no cost to the trainee.

The 30 Years Celebration with the theme “Three decades of service and enhanced livelihoods”. Will be an avenue to commend the management of the foundation and clients for their dedication, hard work and loyalty that has gone a long way in written the LFN name with golden pen in Nigeria.

3-days Anniversary activities include; Exhibition of different goods and services offered by ex-trainees and trainees of the Leventis Foundation agricultural schools, Stakeholders Symposium and Gala Night.

Amongst the dignitaries expected are the representatives of the Presidency, Federal Ministry of Agriculture, the US Ambassador to Nigeria and moderated by Prof Eustace Iyayi, the MSc BSc PhD University of Ibadan amongst other dignitaries.
