Ogunbote condemns Bako Kotangora Stadium , as Rangers crash
Rangers International of Enugu Coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, has described the Bako Kotangora Stadium, Minna where they lost their last league match against host, Niger Tornadoes 0-1 as an eyesore.
He said whoever did this must have done a disservice to the Nigeria Professional Football League.
“My players cannot even string one or two passes together on this pitch, it is unfortunate that they allow this kind of pitch in our league,” he said.
On the defeat, the Flying Antelopes gaffer said they would take the positive away from it.
“We shall go back home for our next midweek match with a new mentality to win as put this defeat behind us, ” he explained.
He praised the Niger Tornadoes team for the good display against them adding that for some lapses they would have came out of Minna would not have come out of Minna empty handed.
Ibrahim Babawo scored the only goal of the match in the 16th minute off a rebound from skipper L Reuben who took a free kick from 30 metres.
