Tension As INEC Order Journalists To Leave Premises

As collation of results from Saturday’s gubernatorial and state assembly election continue across the country, The Gleamer News can authoritatively report that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has asked all journalists who were earlier given accreditation to cover the official release of results at the INEC Office in Port Harcourt to leave.

our Correspondent also reports that the journalists who had been waiting for the last four hours have also not been allowed access to the INEC office.

It is unclear what the reason for the sudden change in INEC process.

For four hours we have been on the Aba/Port Harcourt Express Road waiting to be allowed access to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

We are told that all the Journalists who were earlier allowed to enter the premises have been asked to leave.

There is fear that something unpalatable may be happening in INEC.
