Stakeholder Wants More Awareness For Zenith Bank Women’s B’Ball League

The Chairman and CEO of the Airwarriors Babes Mr. Abdulmajeed Solademi, has called on the organizer of the Zenith Bank Women’s Basket Ball League to ensure there is more awareness about the games which he said if put in place will attract more sponsor.
He made this appeal in an interview with Aljazirah Nigeria Sports in Abuja at the M.K.O Abiola National Stadium Package B Indoor court in Abuja
He frowned at the inability of the organizer to create more awareness about the competition.
The event is devoid of spectators which always adds more fun to the game and believed to serve as a tool to which the advertises can use to come in for sponsors.
When asked about his opinion of the empty seat at the stadium as a result of poor awareness he said “I have been longing to see somebody that I can really communicate to, actually the way the Zenith Bank Women’s Basket Ball League is been organized is not too encouraging.
“Like this event of magnitude women league, I think they should inform or make a very good advert and create awareness to the whole nation to come down and watch.
“In short, people don’t even know that this thing is happening they don’t, this thing is real is not that they are collecting any gate fee, we have stars here, young girls that are ready to make something but they are out of the street now, so at the moment everybody should be ready to ensure they support these girls, make their dreams and make our country proud.”

Airwarrior Basketball Club Chairman, Celebrates Sallah with Journalists in Abuja
The event, filled with camaraderie and appreciation, provided an opportunity for Alhaji Solademi to acknowledge the vital role of the media in national development and the promotion of sports in Nigeria.
In a warm gesture of unity, oneness, togetherness and goodwill, the Chairman of Air Warriors Basketball Club, Abuja, Alhaji Abddulmajid Solademi, hosted a group of Basketball Journalists on Saturday at his residence in celebration of the Sallah festivities in Abuja.
The gathering that shows the importance of love, peace, and unity values which is crucial not just for the advancement of basketball, but for the overall progress of the nation.
However, the Sallah is a time to reflect on our shared humanity,” he said. “It’s a moment to support one another and to uphold the values that bring us together, rather than divide us.”
Guests at the event shared stories, enjoyed meals, Asun Rice, Oriental rice, Jollof Rice, Swallow in variety with a lot of drinks that mede them to engaged in meaningful discussions on the development of sports in Nigeria, with a special focus on grassroots basketball.
Many attendees praised Solademi for his unwavering support for the sporting community and his ongoing commitment to using sports as a powerful tool for youth empowerment and social transformation.
