Pay Me My Money, Biffo Urges Niger Tornadoes
Coach Abdullahi Usman Biffo has advised the Management of Niger Tornadoes of Minna to pay him his outstanding money with them totaling N4, 140, 000. 00.
Biffo who is now the Technical Adviser of Kwara United handled the Minna outfit in the same capacity in 2016 and helped them win promotion back to the NPFL after many years.
Biffo, who spoke as a Guest of the FCT Football Update WhatsApp platform, said he has reported the incident to relevant football authorities, and now his legal team has taken it up formally and is bent on collecting the money.
“At every point, the management of Niger Tornadoes will always tell me they will pay, but it’s exactly four years, they are making no efforts to offset the debt. So, my legal team has written to the government of the state, the State House of Assembly Committee for Sports among others”.
The former Abia Warriors and Katsina United gaffer said he signed a contract with Niger Tornadoes on 1 January 2016, and was suspended from the team on 1 June 2016 after he promoted the team the Premiership after years of absence.
“My monthly salary was N1million, which they paid for only one month, and reduced it to N500,000 in February citing a drop in budgetary allocation to that, and promised to pay the difference which was not paid until I was relieved of the job in June, immediately the team gained promotion and won the Super 4”.
He gave the breakdown to include:
- Balance of 3 months’ salary – N1,500,000
- Salary of June and July – N2,000,000
- Match bonuses for 7 home win – N280,000
- Match Bonuses for 2 away wins – N80,000
- Match bonus for 1 away win – N40,000
- Match Bonuses for 6 away draws – N240,000

CSO Salutes Trump
A Civil Society Organization (CSO) under the aegis of Initiative for Leadership Development and Change (ILDC) has congratulated President Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States of America.
Chief Ugochukwu Nnam, President of the CSO said this in an interview with the Newsmen in Abuja on Monday.
He expressed optimism over improvement on not just American economy but global economy with the inauguration of Trump.
“This is a man with greater vision of making environment around him great.
“In less than few hours of his inauguration, TikTok is back into existence, this shows how he is going to revive the world economy,” he said.
The ILDC boss who reiterated his confidence in Trump’s Presidency, described him as a man of clues and ideas to drive a stable America and the world at large.
He lauded Trump’s collaboration with global entrepreneurs like Elon Musk in an effort to revitalize America’s economy.
According to him, men and women of ideas flock together, they work together for better society and this is what Trump is doing.
Recall that Donald Trump became the 47th President of the U.S by polling 312 electoral votes Vice President Kamala Harris’ 226 votes in Nov, 2024.
Following the oath of office, Trump will address the nation before he is expected to parade across town to the White House and attend three inaugural balls in the evening
About 200,000 supporters are expected to visit the city to mark the presidential transfer of power.
