As the Sports industry in the goes to the polls tomorrow’s Thursday of September, 2021 the South West representative on the board of the Nigeria Shooting Sports Federations (NSSF) Commander Olatunji Bamidele Ayoade, has said that Federation will experience unprecedented Growth if elected as President.
Ayoade who declared his intention to run for the position of president some weeks ago said that his national and international shooting experiences will spurs Federation to more success.
He made this promise while briefing newsmen yesterday in Abuja, as he revealed his five points pillars towards taking theNigeria’s shooting sports to enviable heights in the world.
Commander Ayoade went further to assure Nigerians that he would do everything humanly possible without breaking any rules to fly the country’s flag high in the 2024 Olympics Games in Paris if elected.
According to him, I have engaged in shooting competitions and trainings in and out of Nigeria, during this period I have gathered enough knowledge in management and administration of shooting sports and federation.
“In achieving my dreams and taking the shooting federation to an enviable heights I have five pillars which includes infrastructure development, grassroot development, creation of shooting database, regular media clinics and qualification of Nigeria for the 2024 Olympics Games in Paris will be our ultimate goal.
“We know that the shooting sports lack infrastructure in the country and we have contacted some states in which they have promised to convert hail and building to shooting range.
According to him “We have secured buildings in Kano, Lagos, River states for building a shooting range up to international best standards. I have organized shooting national championship in Asaba, I renovated and sponsored the entire tournament” he added.
Ayoade is expected to battle incumbent NSSF president Brigadier General Longsdale Adeoye (retired) for the presidency as the federation elections would take centre at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, in Abuja on Thursday September 30th.

CSO Salutes Trump
A Civil Society Organization (CSO) under the aegis of Initiative for Leadership Development and Change (ILDC) has congratulated President Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States of America.
Chief Ugochukwu Nnam, President of the CSO said this in an interview with the Newsmen in Abuja on Monday.
He expressed optimism over improvement on not just American economy but global economy with the inauguration of Trump.
“This is a man with greater vision of making environment around him great.
“In less than few hours of his inauguration, TikTok is back into existence, this shows how he is going to revive the world economy,” he said.
The ILDC boss who reiterated his confidence in Trump’s Presidency, described him as a man of clues and ideas to drive a stable America and the world at large.
He lauded Trump’s collaboration with global entrepreneurs like Elon Musk in an effort to revitalize America’s economy.
According to him, men and women of ideas flock together, they work together for better society and this is what Trump is doing.
Recall that Donald Trump became the 47th President of the U.S by polling 312 electoral votes Vice President Kamala Harris’ 226 votes in Nov, 2024.
Following the oath of office, Trump will address the nation before he is expected to parade across town to the White House and attend three inaugural balls in the evening
About 200,000 supporters are expected to visit the city to mark the presidential transfer of power.
