2024 Olympics Ticket, Grassroot development others our Target-Shooting Federation President

The newly elected President of Shooting Federation of Nigeria Commodore Bamidele Ayoade has revealed that 2024 Olympic ticket, grassroots development, infrastructure and others will be the priority of the present Federation.
He gave this hints in Ilorin Kwara state at ongoing 6th edition of National Youth Game while addressing the journalists on his plan to grow Nigeria’s shooting.
According to him, Our plan as a board is to develop shooting sports in Nigeria
“The first assignment in our hands is fixing of Infrastructure because Shooting is one of the sport that is not play daily, that is why we are going to each geo political to develop the ranges.
“The next is grassroots development, we are going to Kano State, after that we will go to Rivers State. We pray that the state governments can help us sustain the training.
“After that we will go to Rivers State and hopefully we would get some talents from there. We hope to reach all the zones.
” I assure you that you would equally be carried along in the process,” he stressed.
” We want to ensure Nigeria qualify for the next Olympics in 2024 in Paris France.”
He also promised to always to carry media along in every activities of the Federation while calling on sponsor and appealed to Parent to always release their children for the game of shooting.
“One of plan to develop the game is zonal championship where most of our activities will be reports.”
“We would include media in our refresher courses in Abuja and also have a feel of what the athletes are going through.
Meanwhile, in the history of youth games, 12 states participated which has never happened before.

NVBF President, Engr Nimrod Urges Families to Embrace Healthy Living at HOBA Novelty Sports

President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, has called on Nigerian families to adopt healthy living habits through regular participation in sporting and fitness activities.
Nimrod made the call on Sunday during the third edition of the Hoba Development Association, Abuja Chapter, novelty sports event held at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
He noted that physical activities such as sports are vital to fostering family bonds, community interaction, and overall well-being.
“The rate of health-related incidents such as slumping is increasing, but regular exercise helps improve the health of both parents and children,” he said. “Events like this bring families together, allowing parents and children to interact and know each other better.”
Also speaking, the stand-in Chairman of the Hoba Community, Barrister Nathan Naandeti, highlighted the significance of the annual novelty games, describing them as a unifying platform for members of the community.
“It’s something we do every year to promote unity, togetherness, and fitness among our people. Sports is part of who we are,” he stated.
Men, women, and children from the Hoba community participated in various sporting activities, including volleyball, badminton, football, and aerobics—all aimed at encouraging relaxation, fitness, and bonding among families.
