Minister Donate 50 Copies Of Sunday Olishe Book To FCT SWAN

Minister of Youth and Sports Development Chief Sunday Dare has from his manaminity donated 50 copies of book writen by an Olympics Gold medalist and former Super Eagles Coach Sunday Olishe to Sports Writers Association of Nigeria Abuja FCT chapter

Chief Dare stated this on Thursday in Abuja at the MKO Abiola Stadium when he inagurated committee to chat a 10 years football development master plan for Nigeria. 

Olishe used the opportunity to present a copy of book to the  minister of Sports and Minister was led by spirit to donated 50 copies of the book to the FCT Sports writers

According to the minister, in my small suport as the Minister of Sports, I personally donate 50 books published by Sunday Oliseh to Sports Wroters Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Abuja Chapter 

The book titled: “Audacity to Refuse” by the legendary Sunday Oliseh’s  where he wrote on an untold insider story from being a young footballer in Nigeria to starring in some of Europe’s greatest clubs.

The book also shares the  Oliseh’s rise to worldwide fame, while dealing with innumerable trials and tribulations. 

It will be recalled that the Former Super Eagles Captain Sunday Oliseh formally launched his autobiography, “Audacity To Refuse” on Friday, April 30, 2021.08

Lawal Delivers Another Brilliant Performance in Europe

After displaying great form for Istra 1961against Vukovar in the score draw encounter in the elite league few days ago in Croatia, Salim Fago Lawal has continued to enjoy rave of the moment status in the Eastern European nation.

On Wednesday, Lawal was on the scores sheet for Istra in the 75th minute against Kurilovec, but it was only for consolation, as Istra crashed out of Croatian cup in round 16.

It was a masterpiece display from the former Flying Eagles striker, whose work rate has shown great development after joining Istra from modest Nigerian clubside in 2023.

He has scored three goals and two assists, totally five – goal contribution as a striker so far this season.

Interestingly, two other Flying Eagles players, Israel Ayuma and Charles Agada, who are also former players of Mavlon FC, featured in the game and they gave good account of themselves.

Sadly, it was not the day of victory on the pitch for the three former players of Mavlon FC of Lagos.
