We‘ll cheer Eagles to Victory- NESC
.. Applauds Runsewe for giving 500 tickets free to fans
The President of Nigeria Eagles Supporters Club NESC Sunday Gullong has assured that his club is ready to leave no stone unturned to ensure it cheers Nigeria Super Eagles to victory when they face Ghana in the forthcoming World Cup Qualifier games come 25th and 29th of this month.
This even as he applauded the Director-General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), Otunba Segun Runsewe for his gesture to give tickets to 500 fans come 29th of March.
Ghana, the four-time African champions, will host perennial rival, Nigeria at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi on March 25 before traveling to Abuja for the second leg at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium on March 29th.
Gullong while addressing the journalist on Tuesday, inside Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja revealed that Ghana can’t stand against Nigeria by all means.
According to him, we are going to mobilize people across Abuja city for them to be at the stadium,
“We appreciate NFF because we had a zoom meeting with all 5 supporters clubs and we all agreed to harmonize, to unify our voice and support eagles on the day of the match.
“We are going to sing the same song but with our different green white green jersey our different uniform still carries the same Nigeria color.”
Before the game, we are starting our rally from Nyanya and ending it at Kubwa another group will start from Gwagwalada.
He, however, called on Nigerians to always support eagles like the NCACA DG as they have promised to give 500 free tickets to the first 500 fans that will arrive at Stadium on that match day.

NVBF President, Engr Nimrod Urges Families to Embrace Healthy Living at HOBA Novelty Sports

Joel Ajayi
President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, has called on Nigerian families to adopt healthy living habits through regular participation in sporting and fitness activities.
Nimrod made the call on Sunday during the third edition of the Hoba Development Association, Abuja Chapter, novelty sports event held at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
He noted that physical activities such as sports are vital to fostering family bonds, community interaction, and overall well-being.
“The rate of health-related incidents such as slumping is increasing, but regular exercise helps improve the health of both parents and children,” he said. “Events like this bring families together, allowing parents and children to interact and know each other better.”
Also speaking, the stand-in Chairman of the Hoba Community, Barrister Nathan Naandeti, highlighted the significance of the annual novelty games, describing them as a unifying platform for members of the community.
“It’s something we do every year to promote unity, togetherness, and fitness among our people. Sports is part of who we are,” he stated.
Men, women, and children from the Hoba community participated in various sporting activities, including volleyball, badminton, football, and aerobics—all aimed at encouraging relaxation, fitness, and bonding among families.
