FC Mavlon is now the rave of the moment in Europe after beating another Bulgarian club, FC Levski-Karlovo 3-0 on Saturday evening, www.totorinews.com reports.

The fans at the Evima football field, Bansko in Bulgaria were treated to a robust, fluid football by FC Mavlon, as they dismantled Levski-Karlovo with goals from Israel Ayuma, Ikechukwu Onwugamba and Charles Agada.

Just as it happened in their game against FC Pirin-Razlog yesterday, all the goals also came in the second half of play.

The Referee awarded a penalty to FC Mavlon after Agada was hacked down by the goalkeeper. Ayuma, who stepped out to take the penalty, sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to make it goal number one for the Nigerian side.

Few minutes later, a through pass from the half of Mavlon connected Onwugamba and the pacy forward speedily ran with the ball, made a decoy as if he wanted to cross to his fellow attackers, but rather, he hit a power drive into the net. It was not  two goals advantage to the team in the third – tier league in Nigeria.

Agada finally nailed the coffin of FC Levski-Karlovo when he hit a low shot into the net for the third goal.

As it stands now at the on – going training tour of Europe by FC Mavlon, the team  have played five friendly games against top clubs in Bulgaria and one from North Macedonia.

The team tutored by Muyiwa Showole won two games, lost two and drew one.

The friendly encounter continues on Sunday when the team files out against CSKA Sofia at the same football arena.
