…. Optimistic Of Victory

The Lagos State Football Association Chairman, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi has reiterated that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) elections slated for 30th September, 2022 is not a do or die affair.

Going by the number of football stakeholders and congress members who have publicly declared their supports for Seyi Akinwunmi to become the next NFF president, he is hopeful that victory is sure in the NFF election in Edo State.

The First Vice-president of the federation promised to run an all-inclusive board with the sole mission of repositioning football in the country.

He reiterated that the election is not a do or die affair because football development is most important than any personal gain.

On his intention to run for the presidency of the Nigeria Football Federation, the lawyer fondly called BSA says it was hinged on stakeholders demands and the possibility of taking football to the highest level.

He stated further that he will drive marketing plans to support the national teams and clubs on the local leagues competing both on the local scene and on the international stage.

He said, the next football federation president must be somebody who understands and has actually invested his energy and vision into grassroots football.

With the huge supports from congress men, he is expected to win the race to the Sunday Dankaro House in a free and fair election on September 30th in Edo.
