Amusan, Brume Promises To Make Nigeria Proud More

The duo of Nigeria sprinter, Tobi Amusan and Ese Brume has promised to leave no stone unturned to make Nigeria proud the more.
Ogun state and Delta born Athletes indeed have written their names in gold in the world, following their 2022 performance in the Hurdles and Long jump respectively.
They gave this assurance on Wednesday night in Abuja when they arrived at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja ahead of Presidential Reception for Nigeria’s athletes at the just concluded 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham in the UK.
The elated Tobi Amusan said it’s a great privileged to do amazing things that gave her world recognition.
“Commonwealth gold medallist, world athletic feat and Diamond league win, honestly, it’s a good season, I am just grateful.
“It was a little bit rocky but I am grateful that I had all the achievements this year.”
When asked what will be her next target? An elated Tobi replied: “right now, I am recuperating and resting for the next season.”
On her own, Brume expressed that she is happy to bag Premium bank ambassador and she is ready to win more at the world level.
She however called on the private sector to always support sports saying with the support, there will be more Ese Brume and Tobi Amusan in coming years.
According to her, I am premium excited, grateful and happy.

World Athletics, AFN Set for Press Conference Ahead of Abuja City International Half Marathon

With only 10 days remaining before the commencement of the PremiumTrust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon, the organising committee has confirmed that the World Press Conference for the marathon will hold on friday, 5th December, where officials from World Athletics, the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), event partners, and other distinguished dignitaries are expected to be in attendance.
It was stated that the briefing will highlight final race arrangements, athlete participation, technical details, safety measures, and other relevant information for the international and local sporting communities.
The organisers also announced that media accreditation has officially opened, encouraging journalists, photographers, broadcasters, and digital media practitioners to apply through the designated online link:

They emphasised that early accreditation would ensure seamless processing ahead of the event.
The PremiumTrust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon is projected to attract top-tier competitors and deliver a world-class road-running spectacle, reinforcing Abuja’s growing reputation as a hub for major international sporting events.
