New year: Governor Radda, Extends Heartfelt Wishes To Kastina Residents

In the spirit of hope and camaraderie, Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has extended his warm wishes to the resilient and vibrant people of the state as they welcome the year 2024.
Malam Radda, while recognising the unbreakable spirit of residents who, despite all odds, have faced the challenges bedeviling the state, assured them of his unwavering commitment to ensure that the challenges affecting the state are soon a thing of the past.
According to a state the by the Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, stated that in the Governor New Year message, he urged residents of the state to unite and forge a stronger bond, with a will to confront challenges of the state headlong.
While thanking the people for the cooperation and support he received for the establishment of the Katsina Neighbourhood Community Watch Corp, which was set up to eradicate and tackle insecurity in the state, Governor Radda assured that the government, together with the people, will dealt a resounding blow to the menace of insecurity.
He outlined his administration’s dedication to promoting inclusivity, economic growth, and accelerated development, calling on the citizens to leverage on the opportunities being created to reduce unemployment and poverty and set Katsina on the path of greatness.
Governor Radda expressed optimism about the future of the state in 2024, reiterating his commitment to leading Katsina towards a future marked by progress and prosperity.

In a statement issued on Thursday by Ogwa Vivian Onyedibia, Senior Assistant on Media to the AUDA-NEPAD CEO, Hon. Abdullahi urged Nigerians to embrace the core values of sacrifice, unity, and compassion that define the season.
He emphasized that these principles are essential not only to the spiritual significance of the celebration but also to national development and peaceful coexistence.
“Eid is a time for reflection, sacrifice, and togetherness. As we celebrate, let us renew our commitment to building a more united, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria,” he said.
Hon. Abdullahi expressed hope that the celebration would inspire a collective spirit among Nigerians and strengthen the bonds of love, empathy, and patriotism across communities.
He wished all Muslim faithful a joyous and fulfilling celebration, praying for continued peace and blessings upon the nation.
