Igoche Mark Celebrates Nigeria’s Historic Wins and Appointment at BAL 2024

Igoche Mark, the visionary behind the Mark D’ Ball Basketball Championship, has commended Nigeria for its remarkable performance and groundbreaking accomplishments at BAL 2024; As Rivers Hoopers emerged as the bronze winners,while CoachOgoh Odaudu, head coach of Rivers Hoopers was awarded the prestigious title of Coach of the Year.


Adding to the list of achievements, was the exceptional appointment of  President of FIBA Africa Zone 3,Col. Samuel Ahmedu (Rtd) into the FIBA Africa Executive Committee. 


In his Congraltory message on Sunday, the Mark D’ Ball Initiator says, “The collective success of Rivers Hoopers, Ogoh Odaudu, and Col Samuel Ahmedu exemplifies Nigeria’s unwavering dedication to excellence and sets a new standard for basketball in the region.”


As Nigeria continues to make strides on the international basketball stage, Mark noted that “the nation’s passion, talent, and determination serve as an inspiration to aspiring athletes and fans across the continent. With these historic wins and appointment, Nigeria has truly proven that the future of African basketball shines brightly with each victory.”

In a remarkable display of dominance and achievement, Nigeria made history at the recently concluded Basketball Africa League (BAL) Season 4 in Kigali, Rwanda.

Toronto FC Canada puts Ademola Kuti on watch list for summer transfer

Former Lobi Star FC striker  Ademola Kuti has been put on the watch list  of Toronto FC of Canada for summer transfer due to his  goal scoring ability in 18 yard box

Kuti started his football  career with Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)  Lobi Stars Football Club before moving to Al-Fujuirah a top division club in  Dubai, where he continued to showcase his talent. 
Kuti also played in the Indian Super League  Minerals Academy FC and Ghana’s Heart of Oaks   one of Africa’s biggest clubs.

Ademola kuti  has also had spells with several other African teams, AS Sondep football Club,  Niger. 
Currently, he is a free agent, and there is growing interest from a team in Canada called Toronto FC looking to secure his services.
Nicknamed commander-in goal, kuti has worked with Diego Maradona and host of other talented coaches both in Africa and Europe.

The 6ft tall striker is a positive minded person who’s presence in any team always add glamour and competitiveness therefore giving recognition to the team.
