NTA Sports GM commends Integrity Group
The General Manager of NTA Sports, Mr Kayode Adeniyi on Wednesday heaped praises on the activities of the Integrity Group, for it’s resolve to make a difference within Nigeria’s sporting space.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to him by the Integrity Group, Mr Adeniyi noted that the group is on the right track with its efforts to help in sanitising the sports cycle.
“I want to urge you to stay focus. Don’t lose sight of what you’re doing, you are doing a great job. We need to sanitise, especially our members. You criticise the system, not the people. We cannot continue criticising people, abusing them, and you want them to work for you. But if the system is not working well, you can criticise the system.
“Don’t do things that will reduce your integrity. You know anyone that champions integrity cannot have a stain on himself. If you can stay away from things that will reduce you, you’ll be able to get the results you want. We also need to counsel ourselves so that you won’t be seen as enemy. Then work as a team, don’t work for people. Stay focused and keep your integrity intact. So on behalf of the management of the NTA, we thank you for coming here today.”
Coordinator of the Integrity Group, Comrade Abiola Shodiya had earlier congratulated the General Manager on his appointment and leadership skills which earned him the exalted recognition.
“GM sir, you are an Industry person whose career trajectory is inspiring. You’ve excelled in your chosen profession and in leadership. You became a reference point for excellence after you served two terms as FCT SWAN chairman. I’m not surprised at all because you’re a product of the ‘Better by Far’ academic institution- University of Ilorin.
“We’ve come here today to congratulate you in person on your appointment because we believe this is worthwhile, considering what you’ve done in your career. We identify with your ideals and we’ve also come to seek your advice and support as we grow on this path.”
