Veteran Fuji musician King Saheed Osupa paid a courtesy visit to Makanjuola Nureni—popularly known as MK—at the Water FC Academy in Abuja, commending him for his unwavering dedication to grassroots football development in Nigeria.
During the visit, Osupa lauded MK’s long-standing contributions to nurturing young talent and empowering underprivileged youth through football. Describing him as a “devoted supporter of the masses” and a “lovely brother,” the music icon emphasized the deep impact MK has made, both on and off the pitch.

“Mr. Nureni Muala Kajola Kajolowo is one of the most respected football agents in Nigeria,” Osupa stated. “He has tirelessly worked to elevate numerous Nigerian footballers and has played a vital role in advancing the game at the grassroots level.”

MK Makanjuola, the founder of Water FC, is well regarded for his community-centered approach to talent development. The Abuja-based academy currently houses over 36 young athletes, offering them technical training alongside lessons in moral responsibility and discipline. Osupa likened the academy to a “charity home,” highlighting its inclusive, socially driven model.

In addition to his role in football, MK has also helped facilitate visa processing for over 2,000 Nigerians seeking opportunities abroad, establishing himself as one of Nigeria’s most effective and trusted visa consultants.

Water FC has gained a reputation as a springboard for promising talent, with several of its players going on to represent Nigeria on the international stage. Osupa’s visit underscores the growing recognition of the critical role private football academies play in shaping the future of Nigerian sports.

“May the Almighty continue to support you as you nurture our country’s talent,” Osupa concluded in a heartfelt message.
