Nigerian striker Seun Komolafe is attracting growing interest from several European clubs, thanks to his impressive goal-scoring form and consistent performances for Khujand FC in the Tajikistani League.

Standing at 6 feet 3 inches, Komolafe is known for his powerful presence in the 18-yard box and his sharp eye for goal.

His talent has taken him across various countries, building a career that spans multiple continents.

Komolafe began his professional journey in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), featuring for Akwa United and Nasarawa United.

His exceptional potential soon earned him a move to SV Kapfenberg, a top-division club in Austria, where he showcased his abilities on the European stage.

His career later took him to clubs in Uzbekistan and Scotland, where he left his mark in the Scottish Championship.

Also, he played for KF Egnatia in Albania and CTG Abahani in Bangladesh, continuing to build a solid reputation as a reliable center-forward.

Currently shining for Khujand FC, Komolafe has already scored six goals in eleven appearances this season.

The impressive performances have infeed earned him multiple Player of the Week and Player of the Month awards, and he’s widely regarded as a fan favorite.

Nicknamed the “Commander-in-Goal,” Komolafe brings more than just goals — his leadership and positive mindset consistently boost team morale and competitiveness. Coaches across Africa and Europe who have worked with him often praise his professionalism and work ethic.

While Khujand FC hopes to retain the prolific striker, growing interest from European teams suggests a move could be imminent. As the season progresses, all eyes remain on Komolafe, whose next destination could be among Europe’s elite leagues.

NVBF President, Engr Nimrod Urges Families to Embrace Healthy Living at HOBA Novelty Sports

President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, has called on Nigerian families to adopt healthy living habits through regular participation in sporting and fitness activities.

Nimrod made the call on Sunday during the third edition of the Hoba Development Association, Abuja Chapter, novelty sports event held at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

He noted that physical activities such as sports are vital to fostering family bonds, community interaction, and overall well-being.

“The rate of health-related incidents such as slumping is increasing, but regular exercise helps improve the health of both parents and children,” he said. “Events like this bring families together, allowing parents and children to interact and know each other better.”

Also speaking, the stand-in Chairman of the Hoba Community, Barrister Nathan Naandeti, highlighted the significance of the annual novelty games, describing them as a unifying platform for members of the community.

“It’s something we do every year to promote unity, togetherness, and fitness among our people. Sports is part of who we are,” he stated.

Men, women, and children from the Hoba community participated in various sporting activities, including volleyball, badminton, football, and aerobics—all aimed at encouraging relaxation, fitness, and bonding among families.
