It was a match that began with clear dominance from the Flying Eagles team as the newly signed Nasarawa United striker, Ayuba Francis and Abdulraman were constantly terrorising the defence line of Capital City FC as their menace paid off. Within the space of ten minutes, the first goal was scored via penalty. Ayuba Francis wasted no time in scoring the second goal after receiving a delightful pass from Alex Nwoya.

Ayuba would have made it 3 goals in two minutes, but his shot was saved by Capital City FC goalkeeper.

It could be recalled that Ayuba Francis began his football career with Iko Allah Boys in Kaduna, before he was loaned as at last season to FC one rocket in Uyo. The match ended 5-0 in favour of the Flying Eagles. The Flying Eagles of Nigeria has succeeded to have scored 10 goals without conceeding any in two matches. What a way to start preparing for AFCON come next year.
