Some Football fans Nigerians resident in Ghana have warned the Super Eagles contingents to beware of anything edible in the former Gold Coast country until after the match on Friday.

The Nigerians who spoke from Kumasi on Thursday said” we heard that the Super Eagles will arrive in Ghana today. We are happy with the arrangements so far made, especially coming with a chartered flight which will be on standby to return the team back to Nigeria immediately after the match.

“We as members of Concerned Nigerians here in Ghana, wish to advise the team to be careful with the Ghanaians in relation to what the team will eat and drink. If possible, the team should make private arrangements for their feeding in Kumasi. They should not eat anything nor drink any. If possible they should come with their own foods and drinks from Nigeria.

“The government of the country is very desperate about this match, as their political opponents are relying on the incessant failures of the Black Stars to score political cheap points, and the government wants to change the narratives with the match against the Super Eagles. They are approaching it as a do or die affair, and the Nigerians should be aware of this and prepare adequately for it”.

Continuing the group who spoke through their Spokesman Odunayo Adebisi said “the issue of them using juju and various unconventional approach should not be wished away, because it is all truth, as many marabouts have been engaged for that purpose, but we are not bothered much because we know that juju does not play football, and our people are very prayerful on those aspects “.

He said that Nigerians in various cities in Ghana are mobilizing effectively to give the Eagles all support in the match.
