COVID-19: Chief Godwin Agbasimelo Put Smiles On Faces Of Anambra Indigenes In Lagos

The founder of Oga Ndi Oga Foundation, Chief Eloka Godwin Agbasimelo, has distributed food items worthy of millions of Naira to the people of Anambra living in Lagos state to help them ameliorate the suffering brought by the outbreak of Pandemic Covid-19.
It will be recalled that, President Muhammadu Buhari had ordered a 14-day lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and the Federal capital territory to contain the spread of coronavirus, the lockdown that may be longer than expected.
Based on this government directive, hunger has believed to be second to none amongst Nigerians this day, as many could not go about their day to day activities to cater for their families.
However, the kind heart, Chief Agbasimelo in his on way has moved to cushion the effect of the pandemic by putting smile on the faces of Anambrans living in those affected Areas.
Agbasimelo, a Businessman, philanthropist, has provided relief materials which include: 1,000 bags of Rice; 1,000 tubers of Yams, 1,000 cartons of Tomatoes puree, 1,000 cartons of Groundnut oil, 600 bags of Garri and other essentials food stuffs needed to help all the people of Nnewi- South, comprising 5 communities, living in Lagos state.
The communities in Nnewi -South includes Ezinifite, Osumenyi, Utah, Akwaihed and Ebenator and indeed Anambra state at large.
He however, urged all the communities in Nnewi-South to be proactive in the fight against COVID-19.
According to him, I want all of us to do the little that is required of everyone to assist the government, as we match on to victory against this pandemic, we shall surely overcome.
“We use this opportunity to call on all prominient individuals, dignitaries, elected representatives, government and other well-meaning nigerians to pitch in to ease the pain and suffering of our people in this period of hardship.
“In unity we shall conquer, God bless us all,” he prayed.
