Dare congratulates Adelabu on Ministerial nomination, says President Tinubu nominated a seasoned professional

Immediate past  Minister of Youth  and Sports development, Mr. Sunday Dare has extolled  President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s nomination of Bayo Adelabu as the Minister to represent Oyo State. 


In a press statement issued and made available to the press, Dare Media Unit, said President Tinubu has nominated a  seasoned finance expert and an astute administrator who has risen to the zenith of his career as a former Deputy Governor of the apex bank in Nigeria; the central bank.


“ I congratulate my brother, Bayo Adelabu on his ministerial nomination. I am  elated at his choice because I know his capacity and ability. Adelabu is a core professional who understands Nigeria’s economy and it’s associated challenges. I have no doubts that he will bring value to the Tinubu administration and Nigeria’s overall development. 

“I also thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the way he has led Nigeria with purpose since he assumed the mantle of leadership.

“You know the way, and Nigerians trust you and will follow you because you know the way”. Mr. Dare urge Nigerians to continue in prayers and support for the Tinubu administration for it to succeed in all ramifications.

President Tinubu Decries Violence In Rivers, Directs Police To Provide Security To LGA Offices

President Bola Tinubu has called on Governor Siminalayi Fubara, political leaders and their supporters in Rivers State to exercise restraint and uphold the rule of law.

In response to recent tensions following last Saturday’s local government council election, the President expressed deep concern over reports of arson and explosions in the state.

He urged all political actors to de-escalate the situation and discourage their supporters from engaging in violence or destructive actions.

President Tinubu directed the police to restore and maintain peace, law, and order immediately.

While instructing law enforcement agencies to bring the situation under control, he emphasised the need to ensure the security of public institutions.

President Tinubu said government facilities built with public funds must be safeguarded from vandalism.

He stressed that self-help has no place in a democratic system, especially after 25 years of continuous democracy.

According to President Tinubu, the judiciary can settle all political disputes, and the outcome of this election should be no exception.
