..As Group calls out Expired President Honour Sirawoo, NEC.

Members of Good Future for Sport Writers in Nigeria have called out to the overstayed outgoing President and the National Executive Council (NEC) of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) to take the upcoming National Triennial Delegates Congress away from Rivers State with immediate effect.

The Good Future of Sports Writers in Nigeria has it on good authority that the outgoing president and the National Executive Council (NEC) who has stayed longer in office than required is making plans to threaten and use some political thugs to perfect his script, his reason for taking the election to a remote place of Omoku, Rivers State.

The group leader maintained that SWAN is not Honour Sirawoo’s property and he cannot force any grown up man to go against his wish for his deadly act.

“We know for certain that the expired President of SWAN wants to put his stooges in different positions so as to be controlling them when he leaves office. There is the need to clearly remind him that the election that brought him in as president in 2016 was done in a coordinated manner so he cannot today resort to underhand tactics.”

Fate of the SWAN National Triennial Delegates congress has been in the balance with the recent date released by SWANECO who chose a date that falls on the Islamic Sallah celebrations.
