Face Insecurity in Nigeria, Leave Governor Dauda Alone

Fix PDP, Fix Nigeria group has condemned the misleading and malicious report circulating online alleging that Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State is linked to funds purportedly entrusted to him by former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
We categorically state that this story is false, baseless, and a deliberate attempt by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in zamfara to bring down Governor Dauda Lawal. No court has ever linked Governor Dauda with Diezani and at no time was he entrusted with any money as claimed.
Speaking on behalf of the group, our spokesperson, Abubakar Muktar, urged Nigerians to ignore such fabrications and instead channel their energy towards the pressing issues facing the country.
“Rather than concocting lies to smear individuals, APC and its agents should focus on addressing the growing insecurity ravaging the nation. Banditry, kidnapping, terrorism, and other criminal activities are the real threats that need urgent action. We say clearly, leave Governor Dauda Lawal alone and face insecurity,” Muktar said.
The group further commend Governor Dauda Lawal for raising the bar in good governance in Zamfara despite the banditry and kidnapping in the state he inherited from the previous opposition party government.
