FCT FA Chairman consoles Abia state Football Association over the demise of its chairman

The entire board of the  FCT Football Association led by its Chairman, Alhaji Adam Mouktar Mohammed has expressed their condolences, commiserating with the Abia State Football Association in the sudden death of their chairman, Sir Ephraim Chukwuemeka whose demise was a surprise to all.

Alhaji Mouktar, in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja, expressed deep shock saying the Abia State football Association Chief was a vibrant man, full of life and vigour, and he implores his family to take heart reiterating the painful loss.

“It comes as a rude shock that Sir Ephraim Chukwuemeka is no more. He was a vibrant man, full of life and a jolly good fellow. He will be greatly missed by the footballing family and stakeholders.”


“I sympathize with his family and ask that they all take heart and be consoled by the lives he touched and his immense contribution to Abia state Football and the country at large.”

Mouktar urged the entire Abia State Football Association, to be strong and continue the good work Sir Ephraim Chukwuemeka was doing in the State through football before this sudden death.”

Furthermore, the FCT FA boss(Mouktar) continued by saying: “This is the time the FA needs to be strong and keep doing their best to sustain the good legacies the late FA boss had put in place as it touched lives, our prayer for him is that, may God grant him eternal rest and grant strength his family and those he left the legacies of football in Abia State the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”


 Until his death was the Football Association Chairman of Abia state and also an NFF congress member.

From Streets to Stardom: Unique Futbol Academy Scouting Program Inspires Ibadan’s Young Footballers

Ibadan is buzzing with excitement as the Unique Football Academy Scouting Program kicks off, bringing together top European football clubs and talented young Nigerian players.

The four-day program, which commenced on Monday, features a delegation of four directors from prominent European teams, including two from Kosovo and one from India, led by renowned football agent Diego Martins from Portugal.


The scouting program aims to identify and select outstanding players who will be given opportunities to showcase their skills in Europe.

Successful players will be offered the chance to take their careers to the next level, with the organizers assuring them of opportunities abroad.


According to the Director of the program and founder of Unique Football Academy, Mr. Jelil Oladimeji, this is not the first time the academy has organized such an event.

“This is the 4th edition, and we are proud of the progress and impact we have made so far in terms of exposing our raw talent to the European market,” he said.


The program has already proven successful, with several players from previous editions going on to excel in European leagues. Some notable examples include Haruna Saleh with PAOK in Greece and Praisegod Emersons in Slovakia. 


As the program continues, clubs are gearing up to exhibit their talents, and the future looks bright for Nigeria’s young football stars.
