FCT FA gives Gusau 100% Support to develop Nigeria Football.

The FCT Football Association, spare headed by the soft and eloquent-speaking Chairman, Alhaji Adam Mouktar Mohammed on the 8th of December visited the office of the President of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF(Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau) at the headquarters in Abuja to welcome him officially and also expressed their unalloyed support to his administration ever since he assumed office as the elected NFF President.

According to the astute and renowned Football Association Chairman, Alhaji Adam Mouktar in his words…“ It’s just a Courtesy call to welcome him( Gusau) and show him support. ”

“We also pledged our allegiance and finally discuss the future and development of Football in Nigeria.” He said.

The FCT FA Chairman, Adam Mouktar Mohammed is also an integral member of the taskforce inaugurated by the President of the Nigerian Football Federation in the area of developing the round leather game in Nigeria, having accepted to serve when the president called upon him to be a member of the National youth teams task force committee of the U17, U20 and the U23 national teams respectively.

The committee is headed by the Katsina State FA Chairman, Alhaji Balele Kurfi, and Olopade, a member as well.

Alhaji Adam Mouktar Muhammed also visited the U20 Flying Eagles camp in Abuja after one of their training inside the FIFA goal project pitch package B, MKO Abiola stadium Abuja, where the team trains, to encourage the players and the coaches reminding them of the task ahead of them, their qualification at the forthcoming AYC in Cairo Egypt, for the world cup in Indonesia also their career at large, he noted that he will support them in the level he can, in terms of their welfare moving forward.

NVBF President, Engr Nimrod Urges Families to Embrace Healthy Living at HOBA Novelty Sports

President of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), Engineer Musa Nimrod, has called on Nigerian families to adopt healthy living habits through regular participation in sporting and fitness activities.

Nimrod made the call on Sunday during the third edition of the Hoba Development Association, Abuja Chapter, novelty sports event held at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

He noted that physical activities such as sports are vital to fostering family bonds, community interaction, and overall well-being.

“The rate of health-related incidents such as slumping is increasing, but regular exercise helps improve the health of both parents and children,” he said. “Events like this bring families together, allowing parents and children to interact and know each other better.”

Also speaking, the stand-in Chairman of the Hoba Community, Barrister Nathan Naandeti, highlighted the significance of the annual novelty games, describing them as a unifying platform for members of the community.

“It’s something we do every year to promote unity, togetherness, and fitness among our people. Sports is part of who we are,” he stated.

Men, women, and children from the Hoba community participated in various sporting activities, including volleyball, badminton, football, and aerobics—all aimed at encouraging relaxation, fitness, and bonding among families.
