Kaduna Socialite “Yetty Gold” Marks 40th Birthday, Holds Reception In Grand Style

Kaduna Socialite and popular Educator, YETUNDE SOREMEKUN popularly known as “Yetty Gold” last Sunday marked her 40th birthday with friends, family members, and colleagues in a glamorous ceremony held at her Apartment in the Barnawa Area of Kaduna city.

 

The event themed “Fabulously 40fied” attracted the presence of distinguished personalities and Society big ladies who were present to celebrate their friend and sister as she turned 40.

The low key reception organized in accordance with  COVID -19 guidelines recorded lots of fun activities, cutting across felicitation messages,  presentation of gifts, dancing, photoshoots, and lots of appetizing meals.

 

The elated Celebrant expressed appreciation to God almighty for the grace of a new age and also thanked everyone who made out time to mark the significant day in her life.

 

An Educator par excellence, the celebrant promised to continue to impact lives and support the less privileged children in the society.

In her words: “I am most grateful to God Almighty for the privilege to celebrate at 40, I want to rededicate my life to the service of God and humanity.

 

“I want to thank my family, a few friends present, and well-wishers who have come to celebrate with me from far and wide. Thank you and God bless you”, a teary YETUNDE said.

 

Accolades and encomiums poured in from friends, colleagues, and well-wishers of how much YETUNDE had impacted them one way or the other.

 

The event was rounded off with a visit to the Orphanage home where the celebrant donated gifts, money and food items to the children

 

YETUNDE SOREMEKUN was born in the city of Kaduna Forty years ago to a Businessman father and an Educationist mother; she schooled in Kaduna, Bauchi,   Anambra and graduated from the University with a degree in Business Administration. She is a businesswoman and a School Administrator. An advocate of compulsory Education for Children, she sits on the board of several NGOs and organizations that promote Child Education.

NTDA, NIHOTOUR Strengthen Partnership at Joint Management Retreat

The Nigerian Tourism Development Authority (NTDA) and the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR) recently held a joint management retreat at Ibeto Hotel, Abuja. The retreat brought together key management officials from both agencies to foster collaboration, address industry challenges, and develop strategies for advancing Nigeria’s tourism and hospitality sector.

Speaking at the event, the Director-General of NIHOTOUR, Aare Dr. Abisoye Fagade, expressed excitement about the retreat and urged management staff of both agencies to engage in meaningful discussions to find lasting solutions to shared challenges. “We need to focus on strengthening inter-agency synergy between NTDA and NIHOTOUR”, he said. He also emphasized on the importance of teamwork in achieving sustainable growth for the sector.

The Director-General of NTDA, Chief Folorunsho Coker, called for stronger collaboration between the two agencies, stating, “It is time for collaboration, not competition.” He also highlighted the critical role of technology in transforming Nigeria’s tourism and hospitality industry, urging stakeholders to embrace digital innovations to enhance service delivery and global competitiveness.

The joint management retreat served as a platform for knowledge sharing, strategy alignment, and renewed commitment to the growth of Nigeria’s tourism and hospitality landscape. It reinforced the shared vision of both agencies to position Nigeria as a top destination for local and international tourists.

The retreat yielded actionable strategies that will drive growth and innovation in the tourism and hospitality industry.
