Katsina United Appoints Tope Bolus As Technical Adviser

NPFL newly promoted team Katsina United has appointed former MFM Head Coach Tope Bolus as its new Technical Adviser.

Announcing this on Thursday, the Chairman of the Surajo Baba Malumfashi, said the application of the Kogi State born tactician is with immediate effect.

Tony Tope Bolus, the gaffer who left Yobe Desert Stars, at the end of last football season, signed a two-year contract with the Chanji Boys.

Coach Tony Tope Bolus holds professional coaching certifications such as the UEFA C Diploma 2022, NFF ,CAF License Coaching Course 2016, and TIKI TAKA License Coaching Course 2015 among others

Coach Tony Tope also attended the National Institute for Sports in Lagos, Nigeria in 2012 and the Fushion Football College USA online course in 2010.

From 2004 to 2014, the new Katsina United Fc Technical Adviser was a head coach of different football teams in Nigeria, serving as Technical Adviser of Giwa Fc Jos, 2015 (NPFL), Malumfashi Fc 2016-2017, and Head Coach Mountain of Fire7 Fc (MFM FC) 2019 and Vandresser FC. He was an Assistant Coach with Rangers International FC of Enugu when they won the NPFL trophy in 2016.

Coach Tony Tope’s major achievements include the Lagos State F.A Cup winner in 2021, the NPFL winner as an assistant coach in Rangers International in 2017 and two times Coach of the Month awards in GIWA FC in 2015, among others.

Born in Kano on May 29, 1970., Tope Bolus He speaks English, Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo and hail from Kabba in Kogi State.

Airwarrior Basketball Club Chairman, Celebrates Sallah with Journalists in Abuja

The event, filled with camaraderie and appreciation, provided an opportunity for Alhaji Solademi to acknowledge the vital role of the media in national development and the promotion of sports in Nigeria.


In a warm gesture of unity, oneness, togetherness and goodwill, the Chairman of Air Warriors Basketball Club, Abuja, Alhaji Abddulmajid  Solademi, hosted a group of Basketball Journalists on Saturday at his residence in celebration of the Sallah festivities in Abuja.


The gathering that shows the  importance of love, peace, and unity values which is crucial not just for the advancement of basketball, but for the overall progress of the nation.


However, the Sallah is a time to reflect on our shared humanity,” he said. “It’s a moment to support one another and to uphold the values that bring us together, rather than divide us.”


Guests at the event shared stories, enjoyed meals, Asun Rice, Oriental rice,  Jollof Rice, Swallow in variety with a lot of drinks that mede them to  engaged in meaningful discussions on the development of sports in Nigeria, with a special focus on grassroots basketball.


Many attendees praised Solademi for his unwavering support for the sporting community and his ongoing commitment to using sports as a powerful tool for youth empowerment and social transformation.
