NFF Elections: Electoral Committee begins Sale of Form On Monday

The NFF Electoral Committee 2022 has rolled out the time-table towards the elections that have been scheduled for Friday, 30th September 2022 in Benin City, capital of Edo State.

The process for a new NFF Executive Committee to replace the Amaju Pinnick-board that has served for eight years will commence properly on Monday, 29th August with the sales of nomination forms, endorsements and return of forms. This particular process will last until Thursday, 8th September 2022.

The screening of candidates will be within two days – Friday, 9th and Saturday, 10th September. On Monday, 12th September, the names of candidates that scaled the screening procedure will be released by the Electoral Committee.

Between Monday, 12th September and Thursday, 15th September, candidates not satisfied with the screening procedure can elect to submit protests while the hearing and determination of the appeals will be done on Friday, 16th and Saturday, 17th September by 12 noon daily.

The Electoral Committee will release the final list of successful candidates for the elections on Monday, 19th September, with campaigning by the successful candidates to commence on Tuesday, 20th September and end by midnight on Thursday, 29th September 2022.

Airwarrior Basketball Club Chairman, Celebrates Sallah with Journalists in Abuja

The event, filled with camaraderie and appreciation, provided an opportunity for Alhaji Solademi to acknowledge the vital role of the media in national development and the promotion of sports in Nigeria.


In a warm gesture of unity, oneness, togetherness and goodwill, the Chairman of Air Warriors Basketball Club, Abuja, Alhaji Abddulmajid  Solademi, hosted a group of Basketball Journalists on Saturday at his residence in celebration of the Sallah festivities in Abuja.


The gathering that shows the  importance of love, peace, and unity values which is crucial not just for the advancement of basketball, but for the overall progress of the nation.


However, the Sallah is a time to reflect on our shared humanity,” he said. “It’s a moment to support one another and to uphold the values that bring us together, rather than divide us.”


Guests at the event shared stories, enjoyed meals, Asun Rice, Oriental rice,  Jollof Rice, Swallow in variety with a lot of drinks that mede them to  engaged in meaningful discussions on the development of sports in Nigeria, with a special focus on grassroots basketball.


Many attendees praised Solademi for his unwavering support for the sporting community and his ongoing commitment to using sports as a powerful tool for youth empowerment and social transformation.
