NIGER DELTA GROUP DECLARES SUPPORT FOR CHIEF EDE DAFINONE’S SENATORIAL AMBITION.

Ahead of the coming general elections, the All Progressive Congress , APC, Delta Central Senatorial Candidate ,Chief Ede Dafinone has continued to receive more blessings and endorsement from key stakeholders in Delta State as the preferred choice of the Urhobo People . The latest being the poltically reverred Urhobo Renaissance Movement (URM) with intimidating membership strength that cut across the Local Government Areas that make up the Delta Central Senatorial District.
In a Press statement issued by the group after an emergency consultative meeting at Effurun, Deita State and jointly signed by its leadership , General Hillary Gunboat,General Kpokpokri, General Shootatsite, General Morrison Darkness ( Ughelli North), General Jodi 1 (Okpe) and General Two Minutes (Uvwie) , the Urhobo Renaissance Movement gave assurance of their unwavering commitment to mobilize and vote massively for Chief Dafinone in the forthcoming polls in a bid to ensure his landslide victory as the next Senator of the Delta Central District by the special grace of God.
According to the leadership of the group , Chief Dafinone is not only a tested and trusted gentleman , but his enviable track record of leadership, awesome educational qualifications , verse knowledge of contemporaries issues and pragmatism has placed him in a more vantage position to clinch the Senatorial Seat in the February 25 Senatorial elections.
Consequently, the Group urged the Cabdidate of the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, Chief Ighoyota Amori to immediately withdraw from the Senatorial race having failed woefully in previously assigned political responsibilities.
“The Urhobo Renaissance Movement wishes to state without any equivocation that the Candidate of the Peoples Democratic ,PDP, Chief Ighoyota Amori should immediately withdraw from the Delta Central Senatorial race following a unanimous resolution passed by the General Assembly of URM and subsequent vote of no confidence passed on him by the Urhobo Nation over his consistent failure and lackadaisical attitude to assigned tasks.
Futhermore, the group admonished Chief Ighoyota Amori to join hands with other well meaning Urhono Sons and Daughters to mobilize for the victory of Chief Eden Dafinone, particularly as he rolls out his strategic road map geared towards bringing the dividends of democracy to the Urhobo Nation and Deita State at large through feasible socio-economic, human capital and infrastructural development.
