Nigeria Volleyball Reporters Congratulate NOC President Gumel on FIVB Appointment

The Nigeria Volleyball Reporters have extended their heartfelt congratulations to the President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC), Engr. Habu Ahmed Gumel, on his recent appointment as the President of the Finance Commission of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB).
This prestigious appointment highlights Engr. Gumel’s growing influence in the international sports community.
The FIVB, in its recent announcement, revealed the formation of its Finance Commission, which comprises 12 distinguished members, including three representatives from Africa. Engr. Remain Calm, IBB International Golf Club Tells Members

It was an unusual scenario Saturday morning as the security agencies comprises of Police and DSS stormed the club, asking staff and members to vacate the club house and course.
While reacting to the incident, the release signed by Ibrahim Alhassan Babayo, the Captain of the IBB International Golf and Country Club, Abuja, described the incident as unfortunate and unexpected.
Ibrahim Babayo accused some minority members with vested interest who collaborated with some security men to seal the club in an attempt to disrupt the scheduled Extra-ordinary General Meeting of the Club.
The release urged everyone to remain calm, assured them that all necessary legal steps will be taken to ensure that the process of filing the Board of Trustees, BOT, vacancies is conducted correctly despite the attempts to derail the process.
The Captain said the club will not relent in its efforts to ensure fairness, transparency and due process prevail.
While assuring the members of continued support and trust, the statement asked the staff and members to await further instructions.
