Paul E Football Academy Unveils Home Kits

An Abuja based Football Academy Paul E Football Academy on Wednesday unveils its home kits for the 2022 football season.

The kits which was officially presented to the public by the Chairman of the Academy Mr. Chikebebe Somtoochukwu who said the Academy is aimed at identifying, nurturing and empowering the youths in the country through the game of football. He said that the Academy will support the aspirations of the budding talents in country to ensure that they reach their desired height in the game of football.

He promised to continue to provide the team with the best of equipments that will ensure they are rated among the best in the country.

He advised the players to remain focused and ensure that they remain discipline in and out training. He thanked the management of the Academy for remaining steadfast and dedicated in their trainings , and implored them to support the players in their quest to greatest.

Highlights of the presentation ceremony was the formal display of the kits by some of the players.

The Academy run programs for youths from the ages of 12 to 17 years.

Team Nigeria Jets to Cairo for 11th World Para Powerlifting Championships

Excitement is high as Team Nigeria’s para powerlifting contingent departed Nigeria on Tuesday, October 7, for the 11th World Para Powerlifting Championships set to take place in Cairo, Egypt, from October 9 to 18, 2025. 


The milestone event marks the first-ever World Championships to be hosted on African soil, symbolizing a new era for the sport on the continent.


The first batch of Team Nigeria athletes left the country on Tuesday amid cheers and well-wishes from officials, fans, and supporters.

The second batch of the contingent is scheduled to depart tomorrow, October 8, from Lagos, completing the full team that will represent the nation at this landmark competition.


Speaking ahead of the departure, officials expressed confidence in the team’s readiness and determination to uphold Nigeria’s longstanding reputation as a force to be reckoned with, in global para powerlifting.


The National Sports Commission (NSC) reaffirmed its full support for the athletes, emphasizing the government’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and excellence in sports.
