The World Will Testify About You Soon.. Lulu Charges Fosla NSF Medalists

Former NFF President Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi has advised players of the Fosla Football Club to continue to work hard, as Nigerians would soon testify to their greatest in the game of football.

Lulu who received football club members who were part of the FCT silver winning football team in just concluded National Sports Festival in Asaba, Delta State, acknowledged the impact of the players in the FCT team, appreciating them for been good Ambassadors of the Academy where ever they found themselves. He charged them to be patient and remain discipline in and out of the field, as the world is waiting for them to excel.

He congratulated the FCT team and the players, and advised them to remain focused for subsequent games.

Four players from the Fosla Football Club, who are students of the Nasarawa State University Keffi were part of the FCT Football team to National Sports Festival. They players were Gabriel Achu, Abdullahi Mohammed “Kekere”, Moses Aluko and Zakari Amodu.

Also, Abdullahi Mohammed “Kekere” used the opportunity to present his certificate of returns as the Students Union Director of Sports at the Nasarawa State University Keffi to the Proprietor of his Club.

Lulu advised “Kekere” to ensure that he surpass the performance of his predecessors, and to remember that a leader is a slave to his followers.

Team Nigeria Jets to Cairo for 11th World Para Powerlifting Championships

Excitement is high as Team Nigeria’s para powerlifting contingent departed Nigeria on Tuesday, October 7, for the 11th World Para Powerlifting Championships set to take place in Cairo, Egypt, from October 9 to 18, 2025. 


The milestone event marks the first-ever World Championships to be hosted on African soil, symbolizing a new era for the sport on the continent.


The first batch of Team Nigeria athletes left the country on Tuesday amid cheers and well-wishes from officials, fans, and supporters.

The second batch of the contingent is scheduled to depart tomorrow, October 8, from Lagos, completing the full team that will represent the nation at this landmark competition.


Speaking ahead of the departure, officials expressed confidence in the team’s readiness and determination to uphold Nigeria’s longstanding reputation as a force to be reckoned with, in global para powerlifting.


The National Sports Commission (NSC) reaffirmed its full support for the athletes, emphasizing the government’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and excellence in sports.
