The Tourism Vanguard for Tinubu 2027 (TVT) has commended the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to transforming the state into one of Nigeria’s foremost tourism destinations.

In a press statement issued by the Office of the State Coordinator of TVT in Akwa Ibom State, on behalf of the National Coordinator, Hon. Apata Samson Nunayon, alongside the South-South Zonal Coordinator, Dr. Piriye Kiyaramo, the group praised Governor Eno’s strategic investments and hands-on approach to tourism development.

The commendation followed the Governor’s late-night inspection visit to the ARISE Palm Resort on Thursday, May 14, 2026, shortly after an extensive Tourism Committee meeting with members of the State Executive Council.

According to the group, the inspection reflects Governor Eno’s proactive leadership style, dedication to quality assurance, and determination to ensure that tourism infrastructure in the state meets international standards.

TVT noted that the Governor’s commitment to tourism development is already positioning Akwa Ibom as a major hub for leisure, hospitality, culture, and investment, while also creating opportunities for economic growth, youth empowerment, and job creation.

The group further described the ARISE Palm Resort project as a landmark initiative capable of attracting both local and international visitors, thereby boosting the state’s profile within Nigeria’s tourism sector.

TVT reaffirmed its support for policies and initiatives aimed at advancing tourism development and sustainable economic transformation across the country under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
