Vivacity Development to Host Pre-UNGA Side Event Webinar
Vivacity Development, in partnership with OCCE Lagos and various international organizations, is set to host a significant pre-UNGA side event webinar titled “Forging the Future: Unveiling Innovative Solutions for Work, Sustainability, and the Green Economy.” The online event will take place on August 24th, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
The webinar aims to bring together Nigerian thought leaders, industry experts, and young innovators to discuss cutting-edge solutions for the nation’s pressing issues. “We are thrilled to offer a platform for discussing innovative approaches to Nigeria’s unemployment challenges, economic growth, and environmental sustainability,” said a spokesperson from Vivacity Development.
Participants can expect a series of presentations on sustainable work practices and new technologies. The event will also feature discussions on emerging job opportunities in areas like sports, the creative economy, agribusiness, and technology. “Our goal is to explore and highlight job opportunities in under-explored sectors and discuss sustainable development across various industries,” the spokesperson added.

Namibian APRM Delegation Visits AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria on Peer Learning Mission

The Ambassador and Chief Executive Officer of the APRM National Secretariat, Namibia, Ambassador Lineekela Mboti, has led a delegation, including officials from the APRM Continental Secretariat, on a visit to the National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer of AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria, Hon. Jabiru Salisu Abdullahi, in Abuja.
The visit was aimed at gaining deeper insight into the operational structure of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) in Nigeria, its reporting lines, challenges, and the advantages of integrating the AUDA-NEPAD and APRM structures under a unified system.
Welcoming the delegation, Hon. Jabiru Salisu Abdullahi provided an overview of Nigeria’s implementation framework, highlighting the synergy between AUDA-NEPAD and APRM in advancing governance and development outcomes.
He commended the Namibian team’s commitment to institutional learning and assured them of AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria’s readiness to provide the necessary technical support and guidance to strengthen APRM operations in Namibia.
