We Are Ready For NSF In Asaba-FCT Director Of Sports

The Director of Sports for the Federal Capital Territory, Mr Lukas Tifanus has expressed that FCT is prepared to coast to victory when the 2022 Sports festival will commence in Asaba, delta state from November 28 to December 10.
He stated this at the city gate in Abuja where the unity torch was put on and commenced its journey to all the 36 states of the federation before the 21st edition of NSF.
Speaking on the FCT Preparation for the event, he said, FCT is prepared, the government is behind us and I believe we will not disappoint them.
“FCT is ready to fight we maintain our policy, we don’t force athletes, we don’t buy athletes, we don’t hire athletes, we make use of what we have at home and I believe what we have at home are enough to represent us, I want to believe that we will have an improve over the last outing.”
He however revealed that the importance of NSF cannot be quantified saying it will help call the youth of the entire six regions of the country to stand united.
According to him, the youth is responsible for the country’s stability.
However, it was a great excitement, joy, and expectations for athletes who gathered at the popular city gate of the FCT where the Director FCT Sports Council Lukas Tsfanus handed over the torch of unity to the Mandate Secretary, Social Development Secretariat, Hajiya Hadiza Mohammed Kabir as she handed it over to Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Mr. Olusade Adesola who handed it over to the Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu amidst drum and dance.
