The Adamawa State Volleyball Association Chairman DCP Stephen Hasso (rtd.) has identified the passion and love for the game of volleyball as the reason why he supports the growth of the game in the state and Nigeria at large..

Hasso stated this when he donated 48 pieces of training jerseys to Nigeria’s male and female team players to the ongoing African Volleyball Championships in Rwanda holding in Kigali till Sept. 20th

When asked on what is motive behind the donation of Jersey to Male and Female National teams, He said: Well, I think sports is not one-man business, and the support and sponsor is not only for the government, sport is for everybody and if we leave for the government or one man it will not grow well.

“I felt it necessary to assist the federation and ministry of sports and to also encourage our players anywhere they are going, that is why I gave them Jersey both men and women teams.”

Speaking on his effort in making game of Volleyball known in Adamawa state, he said: “It’s God that gave me inspiration to do that, in Adamawa I found out that the state is going below in Game of Volleyball and I told myself that it’s high time to put the experience I have to ensure the game of volleyball that I love with passion move forward.” He spoke.
