2019 AAG: Team Nigeria Moves Up 2nd Position With One Day To Go

With less than 24 hours to the end of the 12th African Games in Morocco, the  Team Nigeria has moved up 2ndposition in the medals table with total 103 medals.

The medals consist comprises of 40 gold, 28 silver, and 35 bronze.

However, the Team Nigeria who came second at the 2015 Games, now has a total of 103 medals with just one day left.

Nigeria has dumbed perennial rivals, South Africa into 3rd position to be placed on second on the overall medals table.

As at the time of filing this report, Team Egypt is first on the log with 229 medals which include 79 gold, 87 silver, and 63 bronze

South Africa who have been Nigeria’s nightmare in recent years are in the third position with 32 gold, 24 silver and 21 bronze totaling their overall medals to be 77.

Though, Algeria more medals than Nigeria and South Africa but with lesser gold medals they were placed fourth with 113 medals; 31 gold, 27 silver, and 55 bronze.

The hosts, Morocco are 5th on the log with 93 medals which include; 27 gold, 26 and 40 bronze medals.
