Mr. Olusola enjoined the team to put the nation and their career first while putting on green white green color in Egypt.

According to him, it’s easier to take a horse to the river, but it’s difficult to force a horse to drink water. The federal government has provided a platform for Nigerian youth to excel in sports.

“The NFF has also put much effort to ensure Nigerian participate in every competition, as the saying goes the ball is now in their court, let them make use of the opportunity, I want them to show how patriotic they about the goal set before them.

“Having supported them this far exposed them to the situation that their temporaries were also exposed to it now in their hands.”

He added:  “I want to enjoin them to put the nation first, let them put their career first, as I always told athletes this is your career, never look at what anybody has promised you, by the time you succeeded it must definitely change you.

“If you know what happens to Musa Ahmed after his excellent performance at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, as a nation we did not profit from it but as an individual what became of him, he signed a huge contract if they sum all my money since I started work it’s not up to his salary for one month, how did he get there?  Courtesy of platform the country provided for him.

“So, I always tell athletes this is your opportunity, a trust has been given unto you work hard with it,  I charged them to do their best and to know that while working for the nation they are working  for themselves.”
