Just In: Ahmed Musa completes move to Turkish Super Lig Fatih Karagümrük FC
Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa has officially moved to Turkey where he will play for top-flight club Fatih Karagümrük after signing a one year contract.
The deal is believed to be a lucrative one for Musa who becomes the fifth player to arrive at the club in the summer transfer window, after Aleksandar Pesic, Kerim Frei, Samed Onur and Erhun Öztümer.
Karagümrük reportedly beat Galatasaray and Beşiktaş to the signature of the winger.
“We added the 28-year-old Nigerian offensive player to our squad. During his career, he played for clubs such as VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow and Leicester City. He scored 15 goals in 87 matches for the Nigerian National Team,” the club commented at the unveiling of the ex JUTH FC star.
The 28-year-old player, who transferred from CSKA Moscow to Leicester City for 19.5 million Euros in 2016, signed with Al-Nassr in 2018 for 16.5 million Euros.
Musa, who can play on the wings and forward, has played 87 matches and scored 15 goals in the Nigerian National Team, where he has been playing since 2010.

The four-day program, which commenced on Monday, features a delegation of four directors from prominent European teams, including two from Kosovo and one from India, led by renowned football agent Diego Martins from Portugal.
The scouting program aims to identify and select outstanding players who will be given opportunities to showcase their skills in Europe.
Successful players will be offered the chance to take their careers to the next level, with the organizers assuring them of opportunities abroad.
