In a Press issued  by the Public Relations Officer of the Association, Olaoluwa Aro and made available to The Gleamer News.

At the match day 2 of the on-going INTERNATIONAL DREAM CUP TOURNEY, Nigeria’s Future Eagles suffered a 4-1 loss in hands of host nation Japan but can return winning ways against Romania in their third group match.

According to the statement  “Today’s result against host side Japan wasn’t what we expected but it’s part of the round leather game. It’s just a minor hiccup that is associated with tournament like this, especially knowing fully well how talented you are, other nations won’t make it easy for you to sail through; But we believe you can pick up the pieces of today’s match and use them to your advantage in your next match.

The future opened  their campaign with a 3-0 drubbing of Mexico, which placed them on top of the group before the shocking 4-1 defeats to Japan earlier today.

However, SOPAN boss Odiete, maintains   the Future Eagles stars can come out strongly in their last group match between Romania

“Romania is another lifeline for you to make huge statement in this competition, we believe in Coach Haruna ilerika led technical crew as we hope for favourable result against Romania in the last group match “ he asserted

The DREAM CUP INTERNATIONAL competition is a major tournament that is geared towards building the future of most national teams globally.
