Nextar Launches Ultra-Modern Bakery In Abuja

An Ultra-modern bakery, known as Nextar has been launched in the Federal Capital Territory to create a job for the teeming Nigeria youth as well as bring food to the table of many Nigerians.

Nextar bread that has been in existence since 2015 with carefully selected ingredients that meet all global standards, and friendly staff, world-class products as well as conducive environment would further provide efficient service delivery to its customers in the FCT and its environs.

A newly built bakery with ultra-modern equipment such as modern divider, modern mixing machine, and so many other modern equipment is located at the Arab road Kubwa, in the Bwari Area Council, in FCT.

Speaking at the Grand opening and launching on Saturday in Abuja, the Chairman of Nextar Bakery Engr. Adewumi Rolland expressed “I feel happy, I give glory to God for what He has done.

When asked if the establishment of the new Modern bakery will have an impact on the unemployed Nigerian Youth? He replied: “definitely it will take youth from the street before we move to this place, we have about 100 employees and we believe that moving to this big place will provide employment to over 400 people in the area, including distributors and others.

“When we started five years ago, we are doing one bag a day, later we are doing 200 bags a day and with this new place we are looking at doing over 500 bags  a day, we are looking at 60,000 loaves of bread a day in this new edifice.” He said.

On her on CEO of the Nextar Bakery Chief Mrs. Bukola Adewumi said the management chose to build this ultra-modern Bakery to compliment the efforts of the Federal Government in providing jobs for our teeming youths.

“The Bakery with the production capacity of 60,000 loaves per day would engage an additional 200 youths in the Federal Capital Territory ( FCT), Abuja.

“We strongly believe this will consequently increase the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the government.”

She added that “In the next five years, we hope to have Nextar branch in every 36 states of Nigeria to create a job for our teaming youth.”

Speaking on the challenges, the Nextar Bakery CEO expressed that inadequate  of light has been a challenge so far while doubles taxation from government agencies remain the  cog in the wheel of business acceleration in the country.

In his earlier remark, the Chairman of the Council, John Gabaya commended the Nextar initiative saying that Nigeria needs this kind of project to take many youths off the street.

He sought more support from all the residents of the Bwari Area council toward the development of the local council as well as Nigeria.

He stated, “The remarkable progress we have witnessed at the African Games is a testament to the collective efforts of our athletes, coaches, administrators, and supporters. On the eve of the closing ceremony alone, Ghana clinched eight gold medals, winning the ultimate prize in women’s hockey, 200m men’s athletics event, high jump, men’s football event, and four boxing gold medals in boxing. All in one night.

Ghana also made history by becoming the first country to win god in both men’s and women’s football events at the Games.

The closing ceremony of the Games saw star performances from star acts such as Stonebwoy, Stanley Enow, Wiyaala, Innoss’B, amongst others.

As Ghana continues its upward trajectory in the realm of sports, the nation stands poised to achieve even greater milestones under the visionary leadership of President Nana Akufo-Addo and Sports minister, Mustapha Ussif.
