NTF To Hold National Events At The MKO Abiola Stadium
The Nigeria Taekwondo Federation’s NTF quartet of June national programs is now scheduled to hold at the MKO Abiola Stadium, between 20 and 28 June 2019.
The change was inevitable after the historic renaming of the stadium from Abuja National Stadium to MKO National Stadium by His Excellency the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, during the June 12 inauguration held earlier today at the Eagle Square in Abuja, the Nation’s capital.
Speaking after he has been sworn in for the second tenure, the duly re-elected President gave the historic announcement during his Democracy Day Speech.
“Today, I propose the renaming of the Abuja National Stadium. Henceforth it will be called the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.”
