NYSC DG Charges Prospective Corps Members To Serve As Good Ambassador

The 19th Chief Executive of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Mohammad Kaku Fadah, has charged the 2022 Batch ‘B’ Stream One Prospective Corps Members to be good ambassadors of their respective families and institutions.


The DG gave this charge during an unscheduled visit to the NYSC FCT Permanent Orientation Camp, Kubwa, Abuja, and also Nasarawa State Orientation Camp in Magaji Dan Yamusa, Keffi.


Fadah urged the Corps Members conduct themselves in an orderly manner as responsible role models that is wothy of emulation.


The Director General, who was received in Kubwa by the NYSC FCT Coordinator, Alhaji Abdul Suleman other senior camp officials inspected camp facilities during the visit. 


Places inspected include the Multipurpose Hall which serves as the registration Centre for the Prospective Corps Members, the camp clinic and the COVID-19 test Centre.


The DG expressed satisfaction with the level of preparedness on camp and urged camp officials to put in their best to ensure a successful exercise.


Also while in Nasarawa State Orientation Camp in Keffi today, Brigadier General Muhammad Kaku Fadah appealed to the PCMs to uphold the ideals of the NYSC in order to have a successful service year.


He commended the level of work at the NYSC North Central Skill Acquisition Centre located inside the Orientation Camp, and also the bread and table water factories.


The NYSC Nasarawa State Coordinator, Alhaji Abdullahi Jikamshi while conducting  General Fadah round the camp stated that the Corps Members have been adjusting to camp life.

Mavlon FC arrives Europe on 21 days training tour

The management of Mavlon FC have taken another giant stride in the development of her players by embarking on a training tour in Europe.

The team led by the chief coach, Muyiwa Showole, comprised of players and other officials, arrived Bulgaria on a training tour of 21 days that will see Mavlon FC play friendly games with some clubs in the Eastern European country.

In May, Mavlon FC were guests of Golden Eaglets at the FIFA goal project, Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja  when they engaged the National U 17 team of Nigeria in a friendly game, which witnessed sublime football artistries from both sides all through 90 minutes.

The team displayed strong football qualities despite losing 1-0 to the Eaglets.

24 hours later, Mavlon FC were too formidable for Tiki Taka academy, beating the team at their home ground in Abuja 1-0 in another friendly game played in Abuja Al geared into putting the team is great shape ahead of the training in Bulgaria, Europe.

It is also interesting to note that Mavlon FC has Stephen Emmanuel, one of the players of the victorious Golden Eaglets team that won the WAFU B U17 tournament last Friday, making the training tour of the team.
