Ondo Govt Boosts Security With Brand New CIG Pickups, Trucks, Others

The Ondo State government on Thursday consolidated its security apparatus with the fresh acquisition of Pickup, DFM buses, and Light trucks, from the stable of CIG Motors Nigeria, distributors of GAC Motor in the country.

The deal marked a new milestone for CIG Motors Nigeria as they set sail for a new course with collaboration with the Ondo state government, which took delivery of the vehicles at an official handover ceremony held at the State government house.

Giving a speech of appreciation at the event, the representative Speaking on behalf of Chief Diana Chen Chairman of CIG Motors, the GM Commercial & Group Head Communications Mr JUBRIL AROGUNDADE said that “The importance of today’s mission being the handover of these security pickups is one that is highly regarded in our company’s vision, to become the Automobile company of choice for organizations and individuals who are interested in dealing with authenticity. As part of our drive to deliver in all capacity, we will be setting up an after-sales service center In Ondo state.

CIG Motors is truly invested in the future of mobility and innovation that aids development in Nigeria, and we have continued to strengthen these values through strategic partnerships and collaborations such as this one while delivering excellent value which is our primary goal.

Also speaking at the ceremony, the governor of Ondo stated His Excellency Rotimi Akeredolu employed CIG Motors to hurry up set up an aftersales workshop in Ondo state, as the Government is poised to purchase more vehicles. To the delight of everyone, the Governor proposed to provide land for the after-sales workshop.

The Deputy Governor His Excellency Lucky Aiyedatiwa thanked the Governor for the initiative to empower the 18 local governments in Ondo state with this state-of-the-art fleet of pickups for security operations in the state.

A Civil Society Organization (CSO) under the aegis of Initiative for Leadership Development and Change (ILDC) has congratulated President Donald Trump as the 47th President of the United States of America.

Chief Ugochukwu Nnam, President of the CSO said this in an interview with the Newsmen in Abuja on Monday.

He expressed optimism over improvement on not just American economy but global economy with the inauguration of Trump.

“This is a man with greater vision of making environment around him great.

“In less than few hours of his inauguration, TikTok is back into existence, this shows how he is going to revive the world economy,” he said.

The ILDC boss who reiterated his confidence in Trump’s Presidency, described him as a man of clues and ideas to drive a stable America and the world at large.

He lauded Trump’s collaboration with global entrepreneurs like Elon Musk in an effort to revitalize America’s economy.

According to him, men and women of ideas flock together, they work together for better society and this is what Trump is doing.

Recall that Donald Trump became the 47th President of the U.S by polling 312 electoral votes Vice President Kamala Harris’ 226 votes in Nov, 2024.

Following the oath of office, Trump will address the nation before he is expected to parade across town to the White House and attend three inaugural balls in the evening

About 200,000 supporters are expected to visit the city to mark the presidential transfer of power.
