Ovie Omo Agege emerges Deputy Senate President

Senator-Elected Senator-Elected Ovie Omo-Agege Representing Delta Central of the All Progressives on Tuesday emerged new Deputy Senate President.

Omo Agege who polled 68 votes defeated the former Deputy Senate President representing Enugu West Ike Ekweremadu who secure  37 votes.

 He was elected into the position today, (Tuesday) June 11th, 2019, during the inauguration of the 9th Senate in Abuja.

Omo Agege will serve as Deputy to newly-elected Senate President, Ahmed Lawan
