Philanthropist Tsar conferred with UNIPGC Doctorate Award in UK
 
																								
												
												
											Dr. Livinus Adzer Tsar, a renowned Nigerian philanthropist has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Award in Leadership and Governance by the American University of Peace and Governance in conjunction with the United International Peace and Governance Council (UNIPGC), at the 3rd Edition of the Global Leadership Investment Summit and Peace Award at the House of Lords, British Parliament, London, UK.
In his remarks, Amb. Dr. Jonathan Ojadah, UNIPGC Global President and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, urged the recipients to serve as worthy peace ambassadors and exemplary leaders on the global stage.
He added that the recognition was due to their outstanding contributions to sustainable humanitarian efforts, social work, and development management.
Dr. Tsar is the first Benue indigene to be inducted as a member of the UNIPGC which has its headquarters in Atlanta, GA in the United States of America.
The UNIPGC is a Civil Society/Diplomatic organization devoted to the promotion of Sustainable Peace, Good Governance Advocacy and Poverty Eradication across the globe.
Also speaking, Dr Graziella Thake, Secretary General of UNIPGC, said the Doctorate Award was given to Dr. Tsar, as a result of his dedication to investment in property eradication programs, peace initiative and empowering of Nigerian youths, women, vulnerable and widows.
Award is in recognition of the activities of the recipient, Livinus Tsar in ensuring peace, good governance, empowerment, community development and skill acquisition of thousands of Benue people and Nigerians, he added.
In his remarks, Dr Tsar reaffirms his support for the mandates of the Benue State government in several areas of governance. He has also promised to lubricate and oil the wheels of relationships between the state government led by Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia and the people of the state and had also created public awareness on the various activities of the government.
He retirated the commencement of his skill acquisition for thousands of Benue State people on sewing, making of organic fertilizer, barbing, hairdressing, shoe making, fabrics making, and many other vocations skills where over hundreds of trainees who have completed their trainings have collected N300,000.00 each.
Dr Tsar emphasized that through his organization, Livitsar Support Group For Alia/Tinubu 2027, he donated several motorized boreholes with reticulation across the 23 local government of Benue State.
In a brief remark, Prof. Kohol Iornem, Director of Programmes at London Graduate School, described the honor as a call to deepen his commitment to sustainable peace and development while thanking the dignitaries for finding time to attend and celebrate the awardee.
UNIPGC is Governed by the Supreme Council which constitutes the highest order of the organogram and is headed by the Global President who doubles as the Chairman of the Supreme Council to oversee the affairs of all activities and programs of UNIPGC worldwide.

Tinubu Reaffirms Commitment To A Digitally-Driven Workforce

In a strong affirmation of his administration’s vision for a technology-enabled public service, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has reiterated the Federal Government’s unwavering commitment to building a world-class, digitally-driven, and citizen-centred workforce capable of driving inclusive and sustainable national development.
The President, represented by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, OON, mni, at the opening ceremony of the 57th International Conference and Exhibition of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) held in Abuja, noted that the Conference provides a vital platform for thought leaders, policymakers, and human resource professionals to examine and discuss the evolving dynamics of work under the theme, “Reimagining the New World of Work.”
President Tinubu commended the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria for its consistency and nearly six decades of professional excellence, ethical leadership, and dedication to human capital development in Nigeria. He acknowledged the Institute’s invaluable role in promoting professionalism and strengthening workforce governance across both public and private sectors.
Highlighting the Administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the President emphasized that “Nigeria’s greatest asset is not its oil or minerals, but its people.” He underscored key Federal Government initiatives such as the 3 Million Technical Talent Programme (3MTT) and the National Talent Export Programme (NATEP), designed to position Nigeria as a global hub for skilled digital professionals.
The President also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ongoing public service transformation through the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2025 (FCSSIP25), which aims to achieve a fully digital and paperless civil service by 31st December, 2025.
He explained that the adoption of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution is a major milestone in enhancing efficiency, transparency, and accountability in public service operations.
In his welcome address, the President and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Mallam Ahmed Ladan Gobir FCIPM, fnli, emphasized that the future of work will not necessarily reward the strongest or the smartest, but those courageous enough to remain human in a digital world. He described the conference as “not just another HR event, but a transformative movement that will echo through boardrooms, classrooms, and corridors of influence for years to come.”
Mallam Gobir reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to redefining workplace leadership and advancing professional excellence. He urged human resource professionals to transcend traditional management practices and cultivate work environments “where humans and technology collaborate, not compete; where innovation meets integrity, and productivity aligns with purpose.”
