Ranchers Bees FC Bolsters Infrastructure with New Bus Acquisition Ahead of NNL Season
In a significant boost to the team’s infrastructure, Ranchers Bees Football Club has acquired a new bus ahead of the upcoming Nigeria National League (NNL) season. This development is a testament to the commitment of the club’s leadership, spearheaded by its supremo, Honourable Bello El-Rufai, and Super Eagles striker Sodiq Umar, who have pooled their resources to revive the historic Kaduna-based team.
According to reports, the Lawmaker, Bello El-Rufai acquired the new bus for the team.
Ranchers Bees, once a dominant force in Nigerian football during the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, had faced a decline due to financial challenges. However, under the stewardship of El-Rufai and Umar, the team is poised for a resurgence. The club boasts an impressive legacy, having nurtured notable football talents such as Daniel Amokachi, Ali Nayara, Salisu Yusuf, Dahiru Sadi, Ayo Ogunlana, and Ishaya Jatau.
As Ranchers Bees prepares to kick off its campaign in the NNL, the team will face Gombe United in a highly anticipated home match. The new bus acquisition is expected to enhance the team’s logistics and overall performance, as they aim to make a strong impression in the league.

Nigeria’s foremost Sports Company, Nilayo Sports Management Limited (NSML) has announced the second edition of the PremiumTrust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon, set to light up Nigeria’s capital city on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
With the theme “Steady Strides,” this year’s race captures the measured rhythm and determined pace that define world-class long-distance running, a reflection of the steady progress and ambitious vision shaping the marathon’s evolution into a global platinum-labelled event.
In a historic milestone for Nigerian sports, the PremiumTrust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon has been officially awarded the prestigious World Athletics Label for its second edition, a distinction achieved in record time. This remarkable feat makes it the first marathon globally to earn the label so swiftly, underscoring both the organizational excellence of NSML and the dynamic rise of PremiumTrust Bank, currently celebrated as Nigeria’s fastest-growing commercial bank.
The 2025 edition is expected to attract elite international athletes, top local runners, and marathon enthusiasts from around the world, alongside officials from World Athletics who will oversee the competition.
