The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr. Ernest Umakhihehas concluded the campaign tour of 18 local governments ahead of the primary election to secure their support.

Umakhihe rounded up the one-week tour at Owan West, Owan East, and Akoko Edo at the weekend.

The aspirant, however, said that he was fulfilled and satisfied with the warm reception he got during the tour, adding that he was hopeful to cling to the APC ticket.

According to him, I want to say I am fulfilled and satisfied that the people wanted to see me, to put the face to the name they are hearing.

“That is why I went around all the LGA for them to know me and for me to talk to them; the reception was loud.

I am 100 percent assured that I will cling to the ticket with what I have seen.

Umakhihe, noted that based on his track record in performance, he should be considered for the ticket.

“My slogan is the reward of hard work is more work.

“What I am telling Edo people is, give me more opportunity for more work, and I will perform more.

“So you can see real performance at that level. I will improve on the legacy of the present government if you give me this ticket, and I will deliver in the general election.

Because the people love me and I have the credentials and the ability to perform in the general election.
